About Us
‘All Roads Lead to Baxter Design’
We are a well-established architectural practice, based in the heart of Buchan at The Square (aka the roundabout!) in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire.
Our diverse team comprises experienced architectural and administration staff, as well as apprentices, allowing us to collaborate and develop designs of any size, resulting in the delivery of a successful project.
Our directors each have over 15 years in practice, and we take pride in continuing to learn every day, allowing us to provide our clients with an enhanced service.
Meet The Directors
Ryan Urquhart
Ryan’s favourite part of the job is the initial meeting with a client to discuss the brief for a new project. He heads up the drawing office team alongside Craig. When he’s not working, you will find Ryan playing football, watching ice hockey or splashing in muddy puddles with his daughter!
Craig Fyvie
Craig enjoys designing bespoke house designs and 3D-modelling and has a particular interest in working on houses for those with special needs. When not in the office, he enjoys DIY projects, caravan holidays with his family and eating vast quantities of Pringles (sour cream and onion, naturally)!
Joan Harper
Joan heads up our administration team, and enjoys communicating with our clients. She has great ‘enthusiasm’ for good grammar and punctuation – sometimes (dare we say it) to the irritation of those around her! When not in the office, Joan can be found with her head in a book, enjoying a meal out or planning a trip to somewhere new.
